Your first visit is designed to feel calm, supportive, and unhurried. Every session is centered around understanding your body as a whole system and identifying the root causes behind your symptoms—not just addressing where you feel discomfort.
What to Expect at Womb to Wellness Studio
Your First Visit
Your initial appointment begins with a detailed conversation about your health history, current concerns, goals, and daily patterns that may be influencing your symptoms. This helps create a clear picture of how your body is functioning as a whole.
You will always be guided through each step so you know what is happening and why.
From there, a full-body assessment may include:
Posture and movement analysis
Breathing and core coordination
Pelvic floor and abdominal assessment (as appropriate)
Nervous system and tension patterns
Gentle hands-on evaluation and treatment
You will always be guided through each step so you know what is happening and why.
Treatment Approach
Care is individualized and may include:
Manual therapy and myofascial release
Gentle internal or external pelvic techniques
Craniosacral or nervous system-focused work
Movement and exercise guidance
Education to support long-term results
The goal is to help your body shift out of compensation patterns and into more efficient, supported function.
Internal Pelvic Exams
Internal pelvic floor assessments and treatment are not automatically required for every patient.
They are only used when clinically appropriate and when they will meaningfully support diagnosis or treatment of your condition.
When an internal exam is recommended, it may help assess:
Pelvic floor muscle tone, strength, or coordination
Pain patterns or trigger points
Post-surgical or postpartum tissue changes
Bladder, bowel, or pelvic pressure symptoms
Tissue changes and hormone influences
If an internal assessment is suggested, it will always be:
Fully explained beforehand
Completed only with your consent
Adjustable at any time based on your comfort
Performed in a respectful, professional, and supportive manner
External treatment options are always available, and care will never be forced or rushed.
Comfort and Communication
Your comfort is a priority throughout your visit. You are encouraged to:
Ask questions at any time
Pause or stop treatment whenever needed
Share feedback about pressure, comfort, or preferences
Take breaks during your session if needed
This is a collaborative process, and your input is an important part of your care.
After Your Visit
At the end of your session, you will receive:
A clear summary of findings
A personalized plan of care
Home recommendations (if appropriate)
Guidance on next steps and follow-up frequency
